Bring your Web Design to Life
Creating Rich Media Websites with Adobe Creative Suite

cover

Bring your designs to the Web with these easy-to-follow video tutorials, lesson files, and reference guide.

Follow along as award-winning designer and developer Chris Converse leads you through the process of bringing a Web design to life in a Web browser. Learn techniques for "slicing" a design comp created in Adobe Photoshop into graphics that you will reference in your CSS files. Then use Adobe Dreamweaver to build HTML and CSS files from scratch, while occasionally peeking "under the hood" at the HTML code being generated. Once your design is complete, Chris highlights key features of the rest of Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium, including creating templates and site projects in Dreamweaver, editing video in Photoshop Extended, animating Illustrator files with Flash Professional, creating an FLV video player in Flash, using the Adobe Media Encoder, placing Flash assets into your Web site with Dreamweaver, and using Adobe's Spry framework for Ajax.
